Instant Replay captures changes to website’s HTML by periodically taking snapshots of the DOM (the structure of the page). Instead of recording your screen, Instant Replay tracks HTML changes on web pages you're visitng and recreates them as a "video" by rendering the stored HTML snapshots.
Is my data secure?
The snapshots are stored locally on your computer until you hit Instant replay. At that moment, Instant Replay stitches together the DOM snapshots to what look like a "video" but is actually just the HTML changes on the website. Nothing leaves your computer unless you explicitly share it, and the local buffer is permanently deleted every 90 seconds.
